I’m Jen, founder of Creative Groove and what Emilie Wapnick would call a multi-potentialite. I often joke that I’ve had nine professional lives, having worked in various capacities in entertainment, journalism, event planning, education, and as a solopreneur. The common threads that tie my eclectic career path together? Creativity and storytelling. I’m also a Diet Coke devotee, twin mama, and California girl-turned-Clevelander who’s passionate about helping others get their groove back…and I’m so glad you’re here!

What does your creative groove look like?

Here’s how we define “creative groove:” a state of flow in which anything feels possible. Over time, it’s easy to become burnt out, disconnected, or just blah—thanks to the demands of the daily grind or a gradual misalignment with our values and goals. At Creative Groove, we serve as what Artist’s Way author Julia Cameron would call a “creative chiropractor” to help you get back in alignment and reignite your spark. Our goal is to empower you to find your version of flow (and have fun along the way)!

Welcome to our inner circle.

When you sign up for a course or program through Creative Groove, you aren’t just a customer—you become a friend and valued member of our community. To date, we’ve run 10 Artist’s Way cohorts (both in-person and online), and though we start as strangers, we leave a bonded unit. Each group gets its own special name, and we stay connected through reunions and Zoom meetups after the cohort concludes. We also have a free Facebook group you can join, and we’re hatching plans for our very own membership community. Stay tuned!
